Holloway v. Republic Indemnity. The Oregon Supreme Court held that an insurer could prevent an insured from assigning policy rights to an injured plaintiff, even after the insurer refused to defend and indemnify the insured. http://www.publications.ojd.state.or.us/S52951.htm
